Wrong TDS Certificate

now since tds is paid electronically. u can even check on website how much tds credit is available to you

It is the legal duty of the deductor to issue TDS certificate within the prescribed time with complete particulars.

Denying to issue the correct TDS is any activity against the provisions of law, for which he can be penalised

ask the deductor to give this in writing on their letter head,

i know he will not do it. then ask him to please revise his return and give you correct TDS Certificate.

if he is not hearing, then u can't do much, you can only complaint to Tax authorities

one thing you can also do. you can keep the TDS Certificate issued by the deductor and all the corresspondence related to this issue with you, for future purpose if asked by ur assessing officer. Surely you can take credit if you are right.
