Hello,
Are you talking about Deductor or Deductee?
Is TAN number of Deductor correct? If so, Why do you want to correct his PAN Number?
Is the PAN of the Deductee correct? Does his Form 26AS reflect the TDS amount correctly?

the thing is the society has filled the the pan number of an individual rather putting the pan of the society itself, in place of deductor's pan

If TDS return is filed with the Correct TAN number of the society, you need not worry about the PAN. If you want to change the PAN then login to Traces website and Change the PAN in the profile Section and give the PAN number of the individual person who is responsible for deducting the TDS on behalf of the society. You need not give the PAN number of the society.
After that submit a fresh request for downloading Form 16A/Form 16 and you will get correct name in the TDS certificate.
