Dear Experts..
In February 2024 I issued an E-CREDIT NOTE with wrong figures.
How do I amend it and how to get an amended E-CREDIT NOTE .
When I tried to amend the on the portal with the current Date, it shows an error " REVISED INVOICE/NOTE DATE IS INVALID.REVISED DATE CANNOT BE LATER THAN THE LAST DAY OF THE TAX PERIOD WHEN ORIGINAL INVOICE/NOTE WAS UPLOADED"
Please help me out.

As per Your query, it's in Feb 24. Then How can it will be amend...??
If You are wrongly created Credit note then You just create another one is that balance
or Cancell the credit note and issued fresh credit note...
For amendment You can make previous filed returns related documents only. E-Credit not can't be amend....

You simply reply like TYPO ERROR...
YOU ONLY CREATE TYPO ERROR IN ANYTIME...
I ask you no one has given you the right to intervene. if a wrong credit note is issued , the entire transaction is wrong.
