Wrognly took cenvat credit of light diesel oil

Dear Expert,

Please note that we are manufacturing Industries, we wrongly took Cenvart Credit of Light Diesel Oil, And it is observed by Preventive Officer. He demand the reverse of Cenvat Credit with Penalty & interest. Is there any wayout available for not to reversal of cenvat credit with Penalty & interest.

We clearly accept that we wrongly took cenvat credit. Please give your advice for the same. Your reply is highly appreciate.
