Work contract rate increased
is it true that gst rate is increased 12% to 18% in work contract service from January 2022

Not all services only Works Contract services provided to "Government Entity and Government Authority"
As per Notification 15/2021 , e.f 1/1/22 WC services provided to Government Authority or Government Entity the rate of GST is 18%.
Note : If provided to Central Government, State Government, UT or Local Authority the GST rate is still 12% .
