will set-off be allowed to me?

please guide me that am i entitled for set-off.

i got 179 marks in 1st group in PCE-JUNE'09 and couldn't pass in IT&SM Paper. Now i'll appear in Nov'09 attempt for 2nd group.

now please let me know that will set-off be granted to me in 2nd group on account of excess marks obtained in 1st group in June'09 attempt or i'll have to make entire 150 marks?
