Can a Company appoint wife of an Independent Director as the Scrutinizer for the Postal Ballot Process. The lady is Practicing Company Secretary and has no previous link with the Company. Please share your thoughts.

a company can appointent it does not restrict related party to transactioni independent director has no material relationship with comp.
In my opinion you can go ahead and appoint her.
