Why dont icai scrap this whole system of stipend ?

And yes I do agree with u... But there is one point Stipent is being paid so that articles do not bcm liberal
Yes the rates are not revised since decades and even if they are revised no1 would pay the same...

NIL stipent will not be ok for those articles who belongs to poor backgrnd..(sry for my wrds)
I have seen some of my frnds whose Stipent check used to lapse bcz they didnt even deposited with the bank branch
On the other hand some used to wait for the day when check was to be issued so that they can meet at least some of thr expenses.. although low but it helped them

Yes it is not good but if it is stopped than many would suffer

I agree, but 1000 rs ka cheque ? For what  ? 1000 to yar aane jaane mein hi lag jaate hain bhot se logon ke..

I literally feel ashamed, why this kind of formality ? What do they want to show by this minimum amount ?

I even know cases where this meager 500-1500 is taken back in cash. In this case they are saving taxes and generating black money 

3-4 years back heard some President saying that Stipend rates needs to be revised and we are looking at it..

Hmm..so its such a matter that it takes 3-4 years to look at...as if already the minimum rates are on higher side and further increasing it would cause burden on firms and they will run into bankruptcy !

Me and my frnd both were in a same firm for 3 months at the outset of our articleship

We knw that our CA is not a gud person....
He used to do the same with EX articles that Give the check and take cash frm them
we joined the firm.. we both got our 1500 rs check.. we deposited and frgt
after 6 days he called us and asked to deposit the 1500 rs in cash
We both denied THAT BABA PAISE TO WAPIS NAHI MILENGE AAPKO
he tried many ways to take money frm us.. bt we didint
bcz we knew he cant do anythng to us

But normally articles are scared and could nt do these thngs... Articles must raise thr voice against this

than he goes insane... ab us dehati ko kitna hi samjha lo ki CA kya hota h but for him CA is worth rs 1500 now

Actually I have a school of thought in my mind
If CAs start giving more stipent Articles will work more properly and with full heart and mind
CAs get alot of payment frm thr clients
I knw this and no1 can deny
Yes i knw ki some are earning low bt sm hw evry1 manage

My Principal used to earn more than 5cr a year and at the time of stipent OFFICE Se gayab

Articleship involves just study and practice, employment for earning money is after that.

The system needs to be revamped..thinking needs to be revamped..firm is not going to get bankrupt by paying anything which is reasonable and respectable..

Scrap off this old thinking that articles are free for three years and should serve without any remuneration for the period..show some humanity that they are working for you, your work and your office..

Think like this if a reasonable sum is paid, they will try to work more efficiently and with more alertness and in turn it would be beneficial only for the CA..

Soch mein badlaav ki zaurat hai..

I was expecting this answer from someone..

I know it is for learning period, but do u think any reasonable and respectable sum would be "earning" ? A sum should be paid to cover all the relevant expenses - petty kind of expenses like travelling from residence to office, some formal clothings,mobile phone expenses,books of interest etc

But If you really think is a totally learning period with expenses, I would like the Institute to scrap and roll back the minimum amount of stipend..

I am praying God every indian should be CA  I know that can happen if I become president being CA you dont become Rocket Scientis  CA is easy course blend of therory and practical

there are science and enginering student who are Ca  and they clear  CA very fast as compared to Commerce stream reply to your question CA is just a certificate there are politician who are CA thery are enginerer I saw they have Icwa certicate I think you are afraid of competion my suggetion is to goverment at least Every student of India should learn science till 12th class , one more thing I want to add  few days back I saw in TIMES OF INDIA survey  most of enrollement of enginering student for MBA in IIM , science  student can become engineer, pilot , doctor CA , cost accountat CFA , many course for science student but what about commerce ? can commerce student become doctor ??

Why an engineer is doing CA if he already has a BE degree? Kam pad rahi h kya 1?
And who told u that Commerce student do face prblm as compared to science stdnt....
Dear there are many science stdnts who are giving 5th 6th attmpt of Final or IPCC and commerce stdnts cleared in first attmpt
Its nt abt the stream science or commerce... Its depend on individual whthr hw much time s/he take to gain it

And regarding politics.. I agree that many are CA like Piyush Goyal sir Suresh Prabhu sir... But many are IITians and IAS also

Aise to fir IAS ka MAINS bhi dabba paper aata hai.... It doent mean that IAS is just a certificate

Dear I  am already settled earning more than today's Ca instead of thining about me You should think about youself only . Ca earn a lot thatswhy You are pursuing  If Ca earn Rs 20000 per month like these Bcom student  will u do CA ,answer me honestly

Aur meko 1 baat samajh nahi aayi aaj tak ki EK DEGREE (BE) KARNE K BAAD MBA K PICHE KYU BHAGTE H....... EK SE JOB NAHI MILTI HOGI SHAYAD....
1 me kaam hi nahi hota.... jamane bhar ka kuch bhi karte h aur at last koi to bhi ajib si company me job karne lagte h 15 20 lakh me
And last... Kisi doctor se bolna KI LAW padh k dekhe thodi der.... Buk fek k maar dega...Koi BIO Ka MAAI KA LAAL CA nahi ban sakta ok
