Bank Nifty option premiums can decrease for several reasons, primarily due to time decay, also known as Theta. As options approach their expiry dates (weekly or monthly), their value naturally diminishes, especially if the market remains flat. Even if the underlying asset closes at the same price as the previous day, the premium will likely fall as expiry nears. Options that expire out-of-the-money can eventually become worthless.
Options will be having expiry like weekly , monthly etc on every Thursday. So it is quite natural that the option premium falls when day closes the market at flat
