Why three years articleship training is called articleship and not internship? Generally, all such trainngs are referred to as internship. I wonder as the word article creates a very different meaning. Writting any articles is certainly not the objective of this training.
Does it have any history or logic behind it or it just a custom?

it is just a opinion..
yeah we call da training "Articleship" and ourselves "Articled Assistants"....but dont really know the reason behind it.....its basically tradition yaar....and unique to a CA course...
