Wholly owned subsidiary setup expenses

Dear Concern

We are planning to open "Wholly Owned Subsidiary" in one of the country in Asia and have studied all the guidelines of RBI - FEMA about the Overseas Direct Investment. In most of the details, it is mentioned about the limit of amount can be invested in Wholly Owned Subsidiary.

We just want to understand, Is there any guidelines for initial expenses (like company setup charges, nominee director fee and company secretary charges etc.) to setup a Wholly Owned Subsidiary outside India.

Waiting for reply....

Thanks!

The expenses being discussed are basically the expenses of the "Wholly Owned Subsidiary" outside India. Although initially they may be taken care of by Indian Parent Company but they shall form part of the overall investment/loan limit of 400%.
