what is a whole time director and do we need any for a new startup or is it same as founding directors

As per section 2(94) of Companies act 1013
“whole-time director” includes a director in the whole-time employment of the company;
Founding director can be WTD if resolution specifies so and Form DIR 12 mentions so.
