Well According to me its first the firms and then the students...

ICAI rules are already strict..!!

There are thousands of firms and one regulating body...!! ICAI cannot go to each and every firm...!!

I beleive the Firms (being representatives of ICAI) should discourage the students coming for dummy..!!

Students are just like seeds which have to be watered enuough to become a professional.. They are new and don't understand what is good for them..!!

So the only people who can take a positive approach and educate the students are obviously the firms...!!

If the firms understand the importance of this proffession and make the students also understand them then only the result will come out better.....!!!

As the saying goes, if you want to reform the world start with yourself...

So u have to start from the smallest pt. and then only u can reach the highest...!!

All .              But Institute is mainly by not making strict rules and not taking any action against memebers and students. Most of the Existing students of CA Final who passed PE-II and appering in June &Dec Exam of 2009 are dummy, especially from small city and town.

The Firms because they do not follow the time limit set by the institute (35 hours a week). ICAI because they try to curb this practice but not find out the reasons behind it and control them, the primary reason being the above. Firms easily flout such rules and students are made to work for much longer hours

Again it should be understood that most CA students pursue graduation along with CA.

Moreover the students should be explained about the need for practical training.

let me tell one truth,Ca's atleast in delhi,CPT passed students are generally not welcomed very easily by many CA's simply because the students have to juggle btw tuitons for b.com as well as PCC and Ca's feel that they can hardly be of any use for 3-4hrs they are at office.

which is why many CA's themselves don't call students at office and prefer employing paid clerks,as they can be asked to work even till 10 or sometimes 11 in the night.

i have 3-4 friends here in delhi whose ca don't call them to office and have asked them to concentrate on studies...

also,i have been in articleship for 2yrs now and have never reached home before 7:30pm,when will i study ?also one is tired after 8hrs of audit work+tensions.....

also CA's don't like giving leaves for exam preparations and for IT training also,and not too many ppl pass PCC at 1st go....

i think you cannot blame the students entirely,you don't pass CA just by slogging for 3.5 years,you have to study and pass also.....plz think over!!!

Hay guys have u heared about superwizz most of the student studing their are dummy. and it is producing max no. of rank holders and industry only sees 1st attempt and rank holder not the experiance as when u go in the industry from ca firm the side of table gets change.

obviously the students are responsible because they are never serious about their training and are making daily excuses of coming late to office,wanting to go early on some pretext or the other.they are reluctant to go for outstation audits and are only interested in completing a formality known as training.they are always looking for an oppurtinity to log on to the net andchat with their friends on ORKUT.their mobiles are always ringing and they are not serious.there may be some exceptions but by and large the attitude is casual and calluous.surprisingly some parents are also supporting this and they use their contacts to search for dummy seats for their children.what a shame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!unknowingly parents and students are not realising the values and morals of article training.a student who becomes a CA without undergoing proper training will never be successful.

MAny students who take dummy r infact succesful even more than those who does articleship.

I think ICAI, as the stipend fixed by them is so low that they didn't like working for that, hence they like working somewhere else and earn more and take dummy.
