Dear Members,
My friend's Gross Salary is more than Rs.50 Lakhs and Total income after all deductions is Rs.48 Lakhs. Should she file ITR1 or ITR2? She does not have any other income other than Salary income. Is ITR2 based on Gross Salary or Total Income after all deductions?
Please advice.
Total income..... ie. aggregate income before any deductions...... to be considered.
Since your gross salary is not more than 50 lacs u can file your return in ITR 1.
Is the total income before deductions mean the total of all incomes in Item 1 in Form 16?
