Hi.. we tried filing ITR 2. he actually worked in Japan. the rate of tax over there is 10% and there is a DTAA treaty between Japan and India and that rate is also 10%. however, when i convert the taxes he paid there and compare it with the tax applicable at the normal rates, then he has to pay additional amount of around 23K (the difference between tax amount as per normal applicable rates and tax already paid in Japan)
Is there any way to file a nil return?
