Dell is good, but again it depends. Lenova is also good as second option. 35 k you will get good one. Check online also. If anyone is in US get it from there you will get higher version at 35 k.

You can go for any one of the three : HP, LENOVO or DELL.

Disadvantages of the respective brands :

1. Lenovo - Hinge problem.

2. HP -  Problem of over-heating.

3. DELL - Have to check for the quality of after-sales Service. ( For this problem, of late DELL has lost its popularity in Kolkata).

Sony VAIO is the best. I am using it for three years and it looks and works as if it is new....No issues...Go for Sony VAIO.

For pure office work, u can even go for 11" screen size laptops which are handy and comfortable(If you are not a game player only). U can get an i3 processor for 30k and a dual core for 22k

First of all the question is which accounting software u r using? If it is tally, then wheather it is 7.2 and earlire verson or 9.0 and latest verson. If ur answer is the first (7.2) then the question is what is ur OS wheather win xp or 7. As per ur processor requirement (2nd gen core i3) it doesnt support win xp. Now in ur win 7, tally 7.2 doesnt work unless there vmware is installed. If u use latest verson (9.0 or latest) of tally then it can be used in any of the above os.

If u r nt sure which os to use then prefer amd processor instead of corei3. Coz it supports both the os. Now question is which type of problem u dont want to face during ur usful life(2 to 3 years) of ur laptop, wheather it is software problem or hardware problem or power problem? If u think the problem is software problem then u should use lenovo which have one key recovery button nearer to the power button. For ur hardware problem lenovo is better.

If u have power problem, this problem doesnt have any permanent solution, I think during the 3year of use prower problem will not arise, if u r using a branded product like HP, lenovo etc. If u have heat problem, try using ur laptop on a cooling pad. Rest is henge problem, I dont have sollution of this. Overally lenovo is good for ur work. While purchasing the laptop ask the dealer for those laptops which have numeric pad in its keyboard. It is very essential for accounting work. Hope u have got ur answer.

As per me go for Dell and check out for the insurance. Dell provides free insurance for year 1 against any physical or other damage. Also its graphic capabilities are better than an HP. If you can spare good amount  of money,go for Sony Vaio,best in class after Mac
