Dear jignesh

It depend on nature of transaction. I mean to say , is brokerage is the business of assessee then take it in itr 4 as business income

If it is received for one time only then you can show it as other income in other income schdl in ITR 2 also.

i hope you got the point

Regards

Brokerage income is treated as income from business/profession. You need to file ITR4 for refund.
Itr 4 provided assesee is in this business...

ITR 4 ... ITS INCOME FROM BUSINESS !!!! CLAIM EXPENSES, MAKE IT BELOW 200000 & CLAIM REFUND OF TDS !!!

As per my view ITR4
Itr 4 is ok for refund

Dear Shrimali Put the Income as Business in IT 4 form in Part PL in 51 number as gross receipt and show expenses which has net profit comes to below 2 laks. You will received Refund from Department.

Best of luck.

I think file Itr4 because brokerage income have bussiness income.
