Which book for ipcc group-i

Hi, I am planning to appear for IPCC Group-I in may2013...I am also attending coaching classes for the same....apart from this i would also like to do a bit of self study for which I am a bit confused....

I have spoken to a few people and some say

1. use Praveen Sharma's book

2. use MPV's first lessons in accounting (quite a few recommended this)

3. use institute's study material

I would appreciate it if someone could please tell me if there is indeed any MAJOR difference between the above mentioned books...

i have personally read the institute's study material and find it to be quite adequate and straightforward (at least what i've read so far)....

Any inputs/suggestions are appreciated

-Parveen Sharma Sir's Book is more suitable if u need good Questions to practice, not for self study

-MPV is a more wholesome for self study including good questions

-Study material has the concepts, but not the number of questions required for practice

well i am also studying Praveen sir's Book and it included variety of question for prectise :-D

And for other subjects you can go for

A/c and cost + FM  - PC tulsian

Tax - TN Manoharan

Law - Padhuka
