sir , I want to know whether it is possible that the dormant company issue initial public offer or shares without performing any kind of business actovities. A dormant company is one that has been registered with Companies House but is not carrying on any kind of business activity or receiving any form of income.

Companies that are trading for the first time have to provide HMRC with the following information:

  • Full registered name.
  • Registration number (CRN).
  • Start date of business activities.
  • Address where principal business activities are carried out.
  • Nature of business activities.
  • Accounting reference date. This is the date you will prepare the annual accounts up to.

You must keep and maintain accurate business and accounting records to complete your tax returns and work out your tax liabilities
