In the current GST regime, any activity involving the processing of goods for a consideration is generally a taxable supply of services. The fact that the process does not change the physical dimensions or shape of the goods does not automatically exempt it from taxation. You should determine the specific SAC code for the service being performed to identify the applicable GST rate.
