I have a plot of land and now I have started constructing the house on the same and giving money to contractor for buying construction related items like for cement etc...
now in this situation whether GST is applicable and who is liable for the same

Gst is applicable on contractor"s Outward supply.
The material you are purchasing like cement ,bricks , iron etc the vendor will charge you GST
In short For all your inward supply will be with GST charge therein the vendor , contractor will collect GST from You
