Hi everybody,
I have a confusion as to whether the CGST (Central GST) is leviable on the sale turnover of all goods by a manufacturer only or even a trader per se is also liable to pay CGST. This is because CGST is brought in in lieu of the Central Excise which is leviable only on manufactured goods.

SGST and CGST will be levied on every supply of goods be it goods supplied by trader or a manufacturer.
