Where to file ITR?

from where u filed ur last years return ...

if u r filling ur return first time then its ok u can file it in chandigarh

but if  u had filed ur return first in phagwara then this time also u can file ur return in phagwara and for filling ur return in chandigarh u hv to give a letter regarding ur old ward no and change in address and all these formalities ..

Based upon my residential address in chandigarh OR based upon address of my company?

if u r a salaried person ...then it will depend on the first letter of the name of the company ...

You have to file return on the address mentioned while applying pan Card. if you want to file return in chandigarh. you can change you adress by Modifying he information by changing the adress mentioned in the pan card.

MONU SIMPLY U CAN FILE YOUR INCOME TAX RETURN AT CHANDIGARH WITHOUT ANY CHANGES IN YOUR ADDRESS MENTIONED IN YOUR PAN CARD,COZ YOUR WARD/CIRCLE WILL BE DESIDED UPON YOUR COMPANY'S  WARD/CIRCLE.YOU HAVE TO FILL ONLY FORM 16 ISSUED BY YOUR COMAPNY WITH YOUR INCOME TAX RETURN AT WARD/CIRCLE OF YOUR COMPANY AT CHANDIGARH.

ADDRESS MENTIONED IN PAN CARD NOT IMPORTANT.IMPORTANT IS YOUR PAN NO.,YOU CAN FILE YOUR IT RETURN IN WARD/CIRCLE OF YOUR COMPANY.

YES ONE THING IS IMPORTANT, YOU SHOULD MENTION YOU PAN CARD ADDRESS IN YOUR INCOME TAX RETURN.
