When'll I write PCC

I want to know when I will be able to take up my PCC exam. ICAI mentioned a student will be eligible to write the PCC exam only after 18months from joining an auditor. I cleared my CPT (june 2008) on july 12th. Does this mean I will be able to write the exam only on May 2010? Will I be able to appear for the PCC exam scheduled November 2009 ?

Your eligibility for appearing in PCC does not depend on date of passing your Cpt or appearing for CPT but it depends on the date on which you have joined your Articleship.

Hence you will be eligible for exams if you have joined Articleship before 18 months of the attempt.

So it'll be 2010 May right?

u will be able to give exams of pcc in may 2009 if your training is completed for not less then 18 months under practicing charted accountant (from augest 2008 to jan 2009)

is it compulsory to complete it training before the first date in which the exam of pcc held?e.g,if my due in nov 2008 then up to which date i have to complete it training?
