one of my friend registered GST. His turnover below ₹20 lakhs. in this case is there any compulsion to show the GST in his invoices.

He is registerd then he hv to charge GST irrespective of the fact that his turnover is below 20 Lac

Yes once he is registered , all the provision of Act is applicable.
