	Hi Yogesh,
	Special Periods, as you know, are subdivisions of the last posting period.
	Maximum periods are 16 which represent the last posting period, i.e. 12.
	This enables you to make entries in back dates even when the SAP Period closes.
	Only in FI Module, you can make entries in any previous periods, in the rest you can make entry after maximum 4 months.
	 
	Hence, once the year is closed, it wont be possible to make entries. Only because of special periods, you can make entries in the CLOSED periods.
