What @ theory Q?

 Practical oriented probably means that there will be no questions like define what is standard costing.

Practicle based question is basically for audit and law.... u can go through June 09 law papers which had alot of practicle based questions. I don't think so that there will be any change in the pattern of practicle papers like accounts, costing and tax.

 No worries guys.

Pattern is d same 4 all d papers only difference arisen is for papes of Audit, Law, Tax,SM and bit of AS in Accounts.

AS will have heavy weightage in Accts.

Dear Madhavi, Practical oriented doesn't mean that they wont ask theory questions.......the weightage of theory questions remains unchanged............only the problems part will effect and there the practical oriented pattern applies.... 

See Madhvi one thing is clear that ICAI is focusing towards practicality that is "ARTICLESHIP". Institute's intention is to make a'ship more interesting and those who doing it seriously should not feel it to be an inferior or wasting one. So the paper pattern would be more practical which you come accross day to day in ur office. And haaa who said that practical doesnt mean there would be no theoritical q infact in costin and FM by writing therory q ur application of all methods are checked that how far u can apply the formulaes and techniques in a decision making. As pulkit said there would be no question on definition but one cannot rule the possibiliy of theory q.
