I filed ITR1 for FY 2017-18 on July 11th & sppedposted ITRV to CPC Bangalore same day. ITR-V was delivered to CPC on July 13 and received confirmation email on 27th July that ITR V was indeed received on 13th July !

can we expect refund / or any problems /notices /issue email in 4-6 wweks?

Incidentally I filed ITR 1 for FY2015-16 & FY 2016-17 (delayed ) on Feb 7th 2018 and received excess TDS REFUNDs in bank account for both years on 13th March 2018.

Does "online ITR verification" facilaitates faster refund compared to mailing paper ITR-V to CPC banhalore ?

It generally takes 6/8 weeks for processing your returns and initiate refund after ITR-V received to bangalore.

Yes indeed online verification fasters the process and refunds are given faster.

I filed my ITR-4 and my wife's ITR-1 on 15th July and e-verified instantly. My wife got her refund in 24 days. I have yet to receive my refunds for AY 2017-18 and 2018-19. AY 2017-18 is proccessed but there are issues regarding authentication of bank accounts.

It takes 7 to 8 weeks roughly to process and then a week to receive your refund.

God bless IT Refunds Dept ! (i think it is automatic computer processed if no anamoly with 26AS )

Filed ITR-1 on line on 11th july and speedposted paper ITR-V to cpc bangalore same day & was delivered to them on 13th July (Iam averse to everification via online banking or aadhar OTP business)

Today 18th Aug just now got theIT refund sms from bank (5 weeks not shabby for posting ITR-V to CPC !
