What is tds return?

First you have to have a TAN to File your TDS returns of organization...Yes Its mandatory if you are deducted and deposited Taxes.. Currently you can file the returns with TIN Facilitation Centres or online using Digital Signature (for advanced Users).. You have to use a Software to generate desired Files for Upload of returns... TDS is Tax Deducted at source. TDS is not annual return. it is files as quarterly. April to June - due date is 15th July, July to Sep - Oct 15, Oct to Dec is Jan 15, but Jan to March is 15th may. TDS file return is compulsary.

Filing TDS return is mandatory if you have deducted tax. File quarterly retuns and file a revision return if there are errors in quarterly returns.
