What is TDS deposit date for the month of march-2020?

As per the Taxation and Other Laws (Relaxation of Certain Provisions) Ordinance, 2020, the TDS for March, April and May 2020 can be paid till June 30, 2020 without any penal consequences. Though there is no extension of due dates but certain reliefs have been given in case one pays the TDS for these three months by June 30, 2020-
1. No penalty shall be levied.
2. No prosecution will be launched.
3. Interest shall be payable at 75% of the normal rate of interest. Hence, a waiver of 25% granted.
4. The period for which interest is payable is reduced.

The due date to Deposit TDS for the month of March is 30th April. The government has not extended the due date for depositing TDS however, the interest rate has been reduced to 9%. The FM issued Ordinance 2020, the Ordinance says " The reduced rate of interest of 9% shall be charged for non-payment of  TDS which are due for payment from 20.03.2020 to 29.06.2020 if they are paid by 30.06.2020. Further, no penalty/ prosecution shall be initiated for these non-payments." The general rule regarding the deposit of TDS would apply. As per Rule 30 of the Income-tax Rules 1962 (the Rules), tax deducted from payment made in the month of March has to be deposited by April 30 and in all other cases on or before seven days from the end of the month in which the deduction is made.

Oh God the IT Dept is so harsh , TDS dates must be extended due to Corona fuss in entire nation
