Can anyone please explain me what is "Flexi Basket" component of the salary and what would be the taxation rules applicable on this component?

It can be used for HRA, LTA, Medical, Transport, Food, Phone, Internet etc ...allowance as per employee need. You are free to design your own salary structure based on existing rules and maximize take home.
