what courses available after ca?

Dear Sir, The working in a bank is like sailing in an ocean. As you have not specified the area where you are posted i am replying in general. The reply is covering certain aspects of Banking which includes Branch Banking, Back Office Work, Treasury Management and Auditing. 1) Branch Banking: If you happen to be in a branch where Trade Finance (TF) is being handled than i think it will be a boon for your career. Firstly, understand the transaction flow for all import, export and credit cases. Further you can attend training classes on UCP 600 and ISBP. Once you are familiar with all above, you can appear for CDCS exams. 2) Back Office Work: It includes sanction / evaluation of Loans and other credit products, transaction processing, MIS Reporting etc. For credit part first go thorough all relevant RBI Guidelines, and other banks product catalogues. This will help you in understanding the field better. Attend various seminars on new areas that are being developed at a rapid speed. Transaction processing and MIS Reporting requires some common sense and Good computer operating skills. 3) Treasury Management: Various institutes run specialised courses in Treasury Management. But that you need to search location wise. It is really a good field for individual growth. 4) Auditing: A pure vanilla flavour work for all CAs. You can be an Auditor (In-house) for your organisation where you also take part in process modelling. --------------------------------------- Apart from banking (where you currently working) there are various courses / certifications which will add a weight in your existing qualification. Like, CISA and CISM (Certified Information System Auditor and Certified Information Security Manager - Refer isaca.org) - If you are interested in IT Field. For, Insurance our institure runs a course called DIRM. There are lot many fields after becoming CA. You need to search for that.
