   Now ,dealer registration is done on-line. Viisit the web site www.tnvat.gov.nic.in and click on dealer registration on the left side list. Then click on your division of the department of your area. Then you will get an on-line form to be filled and also you can upload required documents and photographs. Yo will get an unique reference number. Take a print of the application and also note the number of reference. Within a week go to the registering authority mentioned in the web site,pay registration fees and file additional documents,pay  security deposit etc . Your registration will be done......mjk
