What are the important chapter for it&sm- ipcc may 2013 exam

I guess this will help you....

1. IT & SM: I am starting with the last paper of IPC/IPCC examination because this is the subject where lots of the students get struck and are failed. So I would suggest to all SM preparation level is from last chapter to first chapter. And IT start with flowcharts & decision table later on network, Internet, DBMS finally start Software chapter (see note). From practice manual 40 to 45 marks paper will be definitely asked and you should concentrate on that if you have less time. Remaining part is definition part around 15 marks.

Note:

Exclusion of certain topics from IT paper from November 2012 CA IPCC examination and for May 2013 onwards too..

i.e. no question will be asked from this chapters given in below table because these are completely irrelevant for CA curriculum.

Every Chapter is important from exam point of view but if you talk about chapters in which scoring can be easy, they are: Software, Internet, Flowchart & Decisions Tables. If you go through them once you will understand them easily and also able to score well in exams. In case of flowcharts, you need to understand the concept mainly, making flowchart after that is not difficult.
