For WCT TDS Should we deduct on Gross Amount Rs. 9000 /-
OR net Amount 10000/- ( Invoice Amt. 9000 + S Tax 1000 = 10000)

For Work Contract Tds is to be deducted on amount of service rendered(excluding Service Tax).

It is applicable to accrose India or fo Maharashtra only. As the rates are different for each state.
