Wat abt da words....an ofice will b waitin 4 every CA?

One issue which I am aware of is the lack of exposure and practical knowledge. Since the course is a sort of distance learning programme- the benefits of regular classes are not achieved. Moreover, many articles go for dummy or restrictive training because of which they lack practical knowledge and exposure.

Ya one thing i too feel is, many people say dat we can get out easily eventhough we didn take any type of coaching.

and some seniors say that- we have to remember that many of present CAs passed by studying self and without any coaching classes.

but dont they think that there is a difference between both having and not having coaching?

Dummy articleship is not the cause for all this....

Rather articleship is responsible......

Even if articleship gives experience, it is not what the industry demands.....

Tax & Audit professionals @ 8000 a year cannot be absorbed...... Industry needs managers, finance ppl.... Articleship doesnt take care of that....

This is depressing to hear that CAs are not getting the desired jobs. The competition is immense. I believe what happens with most of the articles is that they end up doing same sort of work all throughout their articleship...That needs to be looked into..An effort should be made to see that an article get to cover all aspects such as Taxation, Audit,ROC in their practical training because it would increase their carrer opportunities.

Getting jobs may not be tough but getting desired jobs is something which i believe CAs are facing now. Moreover keeping yourself       continuously update is very important in this competitive ambience.

Fine ritesh, what u said is true. but ya, all the audit firms are mainly focussed on taxation works only. audit will be covered however. AND WHAT DO u mean by ROC work????/ think some more is required for this purpose

if one has passed ca exams that doesnt mean that he is readily employable, now a days the Cos are looking for a candidate with  soft skills more than the technical skills, may be the 6 people who were left out lacked soft skills.
As we all knw that there are lot of vacancies in a lot of audit firms , they can join there and work on the skills necessary and re apply again
