Some time back in these columns Or in a forum I saw a news item on how to know the demand uploaded by the IT Dept.
Now, I want to know the same as one of my client recd. notice from the dept. though the TDS claimed did match. The reason can only be that the Dept. must have uploaded some demand (for the reasons best known to them ONLY)

U can easily check d outstndng demand of IT Dept...for u just have to open ur account in incometaxindia.gov website....and after login there is a option to see d all d demands of till now....

it is the continuous process of the Dept to send notices whether there is demand or not....
So just keep the notices and often reply to them.
