Hi,
Am using Tally ERP.9, when we entering the vouchers in Journals it will show the journal no’s automatically lik Journal No. 123, Journal No. 124 and etc. But I need to change the Journal No’s Format like JR/April/123/2011-12 and it should come automatically when we entering next voucher i.e. JR/April/124/2011-12. How to Re-set the Journal No’s automatically.

Select Accounts Info -> Voucher -> Alter
Select Journal
Set Use Advance Configuration to Yes
Set the Applicable from date to 1-4-2011
Add JR/April/ in prefix detail
Add /2011-12 is suffix detail
For each month you have to change the date of applicability and and the month in prefix detail.
