the assessee has registered in Vat two years before but he has not filed any Vat return for last two years now GST has come.Now what should he has to do? is it necessary now to file VAT return for him? if yes what is the procedre? please suggest.

VAT return need to upadte and by doing assessment the file will be finally close. for doing VAT return some state have been closed it. if your state allowing to file till now then file it online if not then by permitting department it can be file.

IN THE YEAR 2015 VAT RETURN NOT FILED YET, BUT THERE IS A C FORM NEED TO ISSUE, CAN WE FILE RETURN FOR THAT PERIOD?
