Vat registration in andhra pradesh

our company is listed having ho at daman. the company is engaged in marketing of various goods like cosmetics, cloths, medicine, eatable etc. we have taken vat registration in 24 states & we have opened branch in vishakhapatnam & applying for vat registartion in Andhra Pradesh but facing problems. some professionals are saying that all the directors are required to be personally present, some are saying that you have to deposit huge amount in dept bcoz your company is not in the andhra. kindly guide.
