Dear sir,

I know that an Exporter gets his vat refund as vat is not levied on export. I want to know the step by step process to get vat refund. I want to know all details like when to apply, how to apply, whom to apply, which form to be filled etc... I am from west bengal. Please help.

If the amount is so high, please approach consultant initially. Afterwards you can take care of every thing yourself.

Ans. Apply afterr 3 months of submition of VAT return (i.e. example 30th july return date and vat refund paper submition date will be 31st oct and also department given one month condolance period that is grace 1 month.

Claim Prepraid and documents :- Prepared the all documents like Return form VAT & CST copy form 35 export certifictae given by bank and form 32A of export details, Form 32B for purchase of raw materials and packing materials in said period which are used in manufacturing, computation of claim, ca certifictae, Form 32A of refund details declaired by Authorised signatory. (these all details are required of all exporter country except Bangaladesh, Nepal and Bhutan)
