This is the latest VAT rates applicable on Footwear in all states in India. These VAT rates are applicable from 1st April-2013 onwards.

VAT rate in Bihar is 5% as far as I know ...please confirm

Thank you for preparing such useful article, but please confirm about karnataka vat, as you mentioned no exemption in karnataka vat. so far i know exemption is there.
