Vat on scrape clothing
i m purchasing scrape clothes from kandala port and then selling it to small firms in GUJARAT i want to know VAT rate which is applicable to me?

i think there is no vat rate on the purchase or sale of the textiles (cloths) in gujarat
If it is cloth in length there is exemption on it. But,if it is RM garments,rejected and returned from other countries,then there will be tax liability at 5%........mjk
@ mjk yes it is return RM garments from other countries......then my VAT liability is 5%...thank you..
