A friend of mine is disrtibutor of a well known DTH operator in a district in Uttarakhand since 1.5 years. Will he be liable for VAT or Sales tax? His turnover is greater than 50 lacs. How will his liability be calculated???

While DTH connections your friend has to sell goods like,a dish,set top box,cables,switches etc. On these goods VAT is applicable at applicable rates....MJK
