Can anyone have information about the VAT Charge on Clove (Lavang) in Maharashtra?
if yes than What is the percentage.

Clove is covered under "Spices" in Entry 91 of Schedule "C" of the Maharashtra VAT Act. The Rate of Tax is 4% (Four Percent)
I think it is 5% now.....MJK
From 01.04.2010 the rate is 5%.
Please find the attchment of schedule. Refer sl no. 91 of schedule C, Pg no.24
