Registered office of the company is in maharashtra.
Comapny has taken Sales tax number in various states of India, and furnishing returns in that states.
so if in particular state turnover exceeds Rs. 40Lakhs then VAT audit has to do in that state or not or only one audit report is submitted i.e. in Maharashtra??
VAT audit is governed at state level. Applicability of VAT audit differ from state to state. Audit report will be issued for the state where audit is applicable.
