Dear Sir,

Have some doubts which need to be clarify.....what is the WBVAT rate applicable for Civil Contractor for road constructions.

If composition scheme is applied than :

a) is there any limit for contractual transfer price

b) is it necessary to maintain books of accounts.

3% if it u registered dealer otherwise 5% in wct under west bengal vat uwant maintain books of accounts and u want issue form 18 in wct certificate

under road construction contract there is applicability of both VAT and Service tax VAT is levied on goods involved in execution of contract and service tax levied on value of services
