Hi,
in installation & AMC the bill contains only service tax. Is the product transfered in installation and in AMC (in course of any fault) not subject to VAT. the Bill is for Cable laying?

Since in the cable laying, there is a transfer of property in goods from the Contractor to the Contractee, it is a works contract and hence is liable to tax under the VAT Act of the concerned state.
