Various tax for water purifiers
Hi can any one guide me what are the various tax is payable by me and about my self I buy parts from manufacture and I assemble it send to distributor.. Also let me know about my distributor also.. Pls do the needful..

Where the activity of assembling the parts and creating a new product amounts to manufacture, then you shall be liable to levy excise duty, when your Annual Production value goes above Rs. 1.50 Crore.
Secondly, when you sell the water purifier to the Distributors then you shall levy Sales Tax (depending on the State in which you are carrying out your Business).
Your Distributor will further levy VAT / Sales Tax to his Wholeseller / Retailer.
