CIA has excellenet opportunities considering the next decade to be dominated by risk and corporate governance. 

You may think of working in some good internal audit frms initially and then decide to take up CIA exams,

You first have to work and then decide if this is the field which you want to specialise in, Else directly taking up CIA exams would be of no use if you do not like being an Internal Auditor.

To enter in a managerial position in any Indian corporate, CA/CWA/CS is the minimum required qualification. CIA / CISA etc. are just certifications, they don't have any independent recognition in India. 

Better try to concentrate on clearing your CA Final Exam, at any cost.
